Dark chocolate. That’s what I hear when I listen to “A Knife In The Dark” by Volcanoes. It’s rich, it’s decadent, and it might make you a little fat. It could also make you ahead of the curve on this band from St. Louis. Volcanoes bill themselves as a drum and bass duo, but what they do sounds more like a train derailing at high speeds with a rock band on board. It’s awesome.
