Time to put some backbone back into the rock ‘n roll on Sirens of Decay. Hanni El Khatib’s blues-y, raw sound is everything you used to be in love with about rock music…except we kind of drifted away from this kind of music. Most folks prefer things a little cleaner, poppier, or we went just went in an entirely different direction altogether.
Hanni El Khatib missed that memo, apparently. His music is straight shooting, red with the rawness and smoke and sweat that was poured into it. There’s no glossing over and the only fine-tuning you’ll hear in this particular cut is the ridiculously catchy chorus. It rips through at an impressive pace and will leave you ready for more.
TIL THE DAY WE DIE…Where I’m from, they’d call this a barnburner. Hanni El Khatib is definitely F-A-M-I-L-Y. Head In The Dirt will drop on April 30th.
