Young Turks released another new The xx track off of Coexist. This one is “Chained” and it features a simple yet elegant beat that sets the tone. It’s nothing particularly groundbreaking, but combined with the vocals it really sets things off. I guess I’m a sucker for male/female vocals together though.

This track is much more about heartbreak and falling apart than the last. I guess “Angels” and “Chained” are two sides of the same coin, after a fashion. Judging by the first handful of listens I think I might be feeling this one more than the previous.
