There’s a been a surprising crispness in the air the last two days. With no humidity and temperatures hovering in the 77 to 80 degree range, being outside catapults to the top of things to do. With beautiful weather comes a need for equally gorgeous tracks, and Sun Culture have stepped up to the plate.
“Sea Salt” won’t blow your mind – it’s methods are tried and true – but it will get you singing along and tapping your foot. My first couple of listens threw me firmly into early 20 something nostalgia, driving on summer afternoons through nameless towns and broken down back roads, beating the drums on the wheel and scaring the plethora of livestock with my vocal inability.
Sun Culture’s album dropped in March. It’s self-titled and you can stream it on Soundcloud here.
