“Nothing Left” is some kind of dreamy. The first time I heard the track, I was reminded of being a child in Southwest Virginia and heading into the woods to the fort my friends and I had built. In particular, it was quite damp and the woods always had this stillness that lay over them after a good rain. “Nothing Left” reminds me of that time.
I would give you some info here about MMOSS, but I haven’t come across a whole lot. This one wasn’t a submission, I found it via the wonderful Head Underwater and kind of ran with it. Feels like it should get more airtime. It’s folksy charm is a big draw, but the group adds just enough pop sensibility to make it palatable to all types.
MMOSS’ “Nothing Left” will be part of a double sided split single with another band called Quilt titled New Hampshire Freaks. There’s an absolutely gorgeous limited edition (first 300 sold) dual colored vinyl available that is olive and bone…you’ll want to check it out. You can purchase that right here via Beyond Beyond is Beyond.
