From the first warble of the guitar I knew this was gonna be something. With the layers of fuzz on top of some great rock riffs like hair on a peach, Slow Loris’ “Everybody Knows” shows some incredible artistry from a guy who created every sound himself. The sounds are raw, but that doesn’t mean they aren’t well crafted. While Slow Loris is certainly could certainly be classified as lo-fi, or chillwave, he is far from a copycat.
