Sunshine and green grass. Leaves are growing. Heavy clothes are being shed for shorts and tanks and the top half of the Earth breathes a collective sigh of relief. Not everything need be sunny, however, and NAVVI’s “Speak” shines the neon glow of a crisp autumn night on the town upon your ears and shines it well.
Wholly unfamiliar with the group, I have to admit mighty intrigue. There’s a quality that is not unlike that Drive/Hotline Miami noir charm, along with an air of unmistakable longing to be found in “Speak”.
I’ve listened to it a lot. You probably will too.
