Freelance Whales – Girl U Want

Good covers are hard to come by. Well, I take that back. Good covers that are actually recorded at a bearable quality are hard to come by.

Freelance Whales have graced us with a great cover of Devo’s “Girl U Want”. My wife sums it up in one word: peaceful. With the many ups and downs in my own life (and everyone else has the same I’m sure) I have a personal aversion to depressing music. That makes this right up my alley.

Now if only we could get some reliable summer weather here in the Volunteer state to match with the music.
